Role Summary

As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in securing new projects by producing precise and well-structured cost proposals from survey data and bid requirements. This position demands working to firm deadlines, ensuring tenders are submitted accurately, on time, within budget, and fully meet client expectations. While headquartered in Chalfont St Peter, England, we welcome remote working for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and bid documents for various business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and other key stakeholders to align solutions with customer needs.
• Analyze costs for quotations, confirming part numbers and required quantities.
• Complete technical compliance declarations and assess relevant drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
• Engage manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors to obtain quotations and project support.
• Follow up on bids submitted to track outcomes.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
• Attend client or contractor meetings representing Frontline when necessary.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates need to demonstrate precision, excellent communication skills at all levels, and the ability to work under pressure managing overlapping deadlines. Ambition, eagerness to learn emerging technologies, and enthusiasm for skill development are essential.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (good to intermediate level).
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all outputs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with network or security systems estimations.
• Prior experience in estimating roles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
• Experience using MS Project.
