Position Overview

We are seeking skilled EDM Operators to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating Wire EDM machines to fabricate intricate precision parts, contributing significantly to the production process. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to manufacture precise parts according to specifications.
• Utilize various precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and height gauges, to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Interpret engineering blueprints, GD&T standards, process documents, and work instructions to fulfill job requirements.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as replacing wires, filters, dielectric fluids, and other consumable components to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine and process issues to sustain productivity and maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and quality assurance teams to refine processes and product quality.
• Follow all safety procedures and promote a hazard-free workplace.

Candidate Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in manufacturing environments.
• Minimum three years of machining experience.
• Preferably two or more years of experience in Wire EDM setup and operation.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T, and process instructions accurately.
• Experience in performing preventative maintenance on EDM equipment including replacement of consumables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset.
