Customer Advisor - Stock Flow

Overview

Join B&Q as a Customer Advisor in Stock Flow, working full-time at 36.75 hours weekly on a permanent contract. This role is based at B&Q Durham with shifts available Monday through Sunday between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. The position offers a UK notional hourly rate of £13.10.

About the Role

In this position, you will ensure the store is well-stocked with products customers need alongside items that inspire new projects. Efficiency and safety are essential, with an opportunity to obtain a forklift license. The role encourages creativity through problem-solving and decision-making that contribute to business growth.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator capable of maintaining organized and effective planning during busy periods. You should be analytical yet able to simplify tasks, work cooperatively with colleagues, and adapt to new technology and work methods. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rotating schedule is necessary.
