About the Role
We are seeking a developer specialized in AI-powered applications to create smart internal tools that enhance organizational workflows. This position involves partnering with teams in sales, operations, finance, service, and management to grasp their processes and develop AI-based solutions addressing real business challenges.
Your work will include implementing features like intelligent document processing, embedded AI copilots, and automations to minimize manual tasks, enhance decision-making, and optimize operations across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and launch AI-driven internal applications and workflow automation tools.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to identify repetitive or time-intensive tasks suitable for AI enhancements.
- Develop and embed large language model (LLM) functionalities such as prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), structured outputs, and tool/function integration.
- Construct scalable full-stack apps using Python and TypeScript or comparable technologies.
- Integrate various enterprise systems including Salesforce, Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, databases, and proprietary internal platforms.
- Rapidly prototype solutions, test features, and refine based on user feedback.
- Safeguard internal and sensitive company data throughout development and deployment.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years in professional software development.
- Proven experience crafting business or internal tools actively used in operational environments.
- Hands-on skills integrating large language models within applications.
- Strong expertise in Python and TypeScript or related programming languages.
- Competent in developing full-stack web applications.
- Knowledgeable in APIs, database systems, and enterprise-grade software platforms.
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in managing stakeholder relationships.
- A product-focused mindset to detect and address significant business needs.
- Good judgment regarding when to apply AI and when more straightforward solutions are preferable.
Additional Desirable Experience
- Building AI copilots, chatbots, or autonomous workflow systems.
- Familiarity with automation solutions like Zapier, n8n, or Temporal.
- Experience with vector databases, embedding techniques, OCR, and document processing.
- Background in operations engineering, robotic process automation (RPA), or process streamlining.
- Understanding data privacy, access controls, and ethical AI standards.
- Comfort with fast prototyping and conducting user research.
Performance Goals
- Within six months: Deliver a functional AI-driven internal tool that notably cuts manual workload for business teams.
- Within one year: Develop standardized methods for reliably deploying AI applications internally and become a recognized technology collaborator within the organization.
Additional Information
The role operates remotely with a US-shift work schedule, encompassing five working days per week. Compensation offer is up to $2000 monthly based on experience and qualifications. Candidates interested can apply directly via professional channels.
