About the Role
This internship offers an opportunity to develop and optimize mechanical designs through advanced CAD modeling and simulation techniques. You will create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts, conduct structural and thermal finite element analysis to ensure design robustness, and coordinate with manufacturing teams to enhance design feasibility. The role encourages adopting new engineering software tools for continuous learning and application.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D CAD models alongside 2D production drawings of mechanical components.
- Execute finite element analysis (FEA) including both structural and thermal simulations to assess and refine design integrity.
- Work closely with manufacturing departments to ensure designs meet manufacturability and assembly requirements.
- Engage in the acquisition and application of new engineering and simulation software skills.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be enrolled in or hold a BTech/BE degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong enthusiasm and capability for independent technical learning and rapid adoption of new tools.
- Ability to work remotely and commit to a 3-month internship starting between August 22, 2026, and September 26, 2026.
