Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable applications that harness Artificial Intelligence alongside JavaScript/TypeScript technologies such as Node.js and Next.js. The role requires end-to-end full-stack software development, including frontend and backend services, APIs, integrations, and supplementary components.
Key duties include:
- Embedding AI/ML features like Generative AI, Large Language Models, AI agents, RAG methodologies, and intelligent automation into business applications.
- Contributing to architecture design, covering APIs, databases, authentication models, and integration strategies to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Owning the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Creating RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services, AI platforms, cloud environments, and various databases.
- Writing clean, modular, and well-documented code aligned with best practices, security standards, and software engineering principles.
- Performing unit and integration testing, troubleshooting functional and production issues, and implementing corrective measures.
- Optimizing application responsiveness, performance, resource use, scalability, and API efficiency to meet expanding business needs.
- Applying security best practices in authentication, authorization, data protection, input validation, secrets management, and securely developing AI applications.
- Supporting cloud-based development, continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD), application deployment, monitoring, and operational needs.
- Drafting and updating comprehensive technical documentation including architecture, APIs, designs, and deployment guidelines.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps/cloud specialists, and AI/data experts to gather requirements and devise effective solutions.
- Engaging in project planning activities like estimation, sprint management, prioritization, risk handling, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Contributing to the evolution of the technical roadmap by assessing new frameworks and technologies that can improve product scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Actively researching emerging tech in AI, cloud computing, and software development to incorporate innovative solutions.
- Providing ongoing production support through monitoring, problem analysis, root cause diagnosis, bug fixing, and performance tuning.
- Supporting team knowledge sharing through code reviews, technical mentorship, and improving development and engineering workflows.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency, code quality, and reuse across projects.
Eligibility and Education
