Role Summary

We are seeking a committed and analytically skilled Senior Financial Controller to join the Finance team at the earliest opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee both operational and strategic controlling activities for the company.
• Prepare and enhance monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and shareholders.
• Analyze company KPIs and derive actionable recommendations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term planning processes.
• Conduct variance, profitability, and investment analyses.
• Assist in creating business cases and economic feasibility assessments.
• Drive improvements in controlling procedures, reporting frameworks, and KPI systems.
• Serve as a key consultant to plant management, departments, and senior management.
• Contribute to annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and support audit processes.
• Participate in finance and digital transformation projects, especially in business intelligence and reporting solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification focused on finance/controlling.
• A minimum of five years of professional experience in financial controlling within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, and business processes.
• Experience in production or plant controlling is advantageous.
• Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalents.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and preferably experience with Power BI.
• Analytical mindset, structured approach, and strong self-motivation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex topics clearly.
• Fluent German and good command of English.
