Role Summary
We are seeking a committed and analytically skilled Senior Financial Controller to join the Finance team at the earliest opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee both operational and strategic controlling activities for the company.
- Prepare and enhance monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and shareholders.
- Analyze company KPIs and derive actionable recommendations.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term planning processes.
- Conduct variance, profitability, and investment analyses.
- Assist in creating business cases and economic feasibility assessments.
- Drive improvements in controlling procedures, reporting frameworks, and KPI systems.
- Serve as a key consultant to plant management, departments, and senior management.
- Contribute to annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and support audit processes.
- Participate in finance and digital transformation projects, especially in business intelligence and reporting solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification focused on finance/controlling.
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in financial controlling within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, and business processes.
- Experience in production or plant controlling is advantageous.
- Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalents.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and preferably experience with Power BI.
- Analytical mindset, structured approach, and strong self-motivation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex topics clearly.
- Fluent German and good command of English.
