Role Overview
As the Sales Manager based in Auckland, you will steer sales efforts spanning villages from South Auckland to the North Shore. Your primary objective is to increase occupancy by generating inquiries, managing the sales funnel, and successfully converting leads into completed Occupation Rights Agreements (ORA) sales. You will collaborate closely with village leaders, operations, marketing, and sales teams to achieve solid commercial outcomes while ensuring a positive experience for prospective residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales activities across assigned villages focusing on pipeline growth and ORA sales completion.
- Establish and nurture relationships with prospective residents, guiding them from initial inquiry through to sale closure.
- Manage Independent Living Unit (ILU) and Care inquiries, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression of leads.
- Utilize HubSpot CRM and sales data analytics to identify sales opportunities and boost conversion rates.
- Ensure available units are optimally presented to prospective clients.
- Coach and assist village leaders in enhancing their sales capabilities.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on promotions, events, and lead generation initiatives.
- Work alongside the Regional Operations Manager to implement strategies for occupancy growth.
- Occasional evening and weekend availability may be required for village tours, open days, and community events.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional who balances strong commercial motivation with empathy and a proactive approach. Key attributes include:
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in managing sales pipelines and converting leads effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Highly organized, motivated, and self-driven.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM systems.
