Rust Developer

Role overview

We are looking for a Rust Developer to join a team working on backend and system-level solutions for media-focused products. The position is based in Trivandrum, Kerala, India and is a full-time, on-site opportunity.

What you will work on

• Design and maintain backend services and application components using Rust.
• Create efficient modules for media streaming and OTT-related platforms.
• Tune code and systems for low delay and high throughput.
• Work with APIs and connected services alongside cross-functional teams.
• Support the security, stability, and scalability of applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix performance problems across different environments.

Required technical background

• Very strong command of Rust programming.
• Hands-on experience with system-level programming and performance tuning.
• Exposure to media streaming technologies, OTT ecosystems, and set-top box environments.
• Domain knowledge in media and high-tech applications.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, networking fundamentals, and multithreaded programming.
• Comfort using Git for version control and collaborative development.
