Private Equity Associate

Position Overview

This contract opportunity for a Private Equity Associate offers a remote work arrangement within the United States. The role demands a weekly commitment between 10 to 40 hours and compensates between 100 and 144 USD per hour.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform thorough due diligence by assessing confidential information memoranda (CIMs/SIMs) alongside supporting deal documents.
• Prepare, evaluate, and enhance Investment Committee memoranda and Board Decks to facilitate effective decision making.
• Analyze complex public filings, financial reports, and intricate transaction documentation to support investment evaluations.
• Work collaboratively with both internal and external teams to track progress on tasks and detect critical errors.
• Maintain rigorous attention to detail while handling confidential and sensitive information throughout transaction processes.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess substantial relevant experience in private equity or combined private equity and investment banking roles, ideally at Associate or Analyst levels.
• Have demonstrated expertise in scrutinizing public filings, managing mergers and acquisitions or financing deals, and developing CIMs/SIMs and due diligence documentation.
• Show proficiency in drafting and organizing Investment Committee memos and Board presentations, skillfully conveying complex information.
• Exemplify excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of producing clear, precise, and compelling narratives targeted to varied stakeholders.
• Display a strong commitment to detail orientation and maintain an organized approach, efficiently juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
