Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair laundry machinery to ensure seamless daily laundry operations.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on washing machines, dryers, and various laundry equipment.
• Respond efficiently to maintenance requests and complete work orders to reduce downtime of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
• Identify opportunities for maintenance improvements that support energy-saving initiatives and enhance operating procedures.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and engineering protocols while performing equipment repairs.
• Collaborate closely with laundry staff to address and resolve technical issues promptly for uninterrupted workflow.
• Undertake additional maintenance tasks as assigned, contributing positively as a dependable team member.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Proven hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing commercial laundry machinery.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques and troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical problems.
• Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and to engage in frequent physical activities such as bending, walking, and standing during shifts.
• Basic literacy in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
• Willingness to work shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong dedication to upholding workplace health and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to cooperate with various departments effectively.
