Role Overview

This is a full-time remote opportunity for an investigative journalist. The position focuses on uncovering, researching, and shaping in-depth stories that are well-supported, accurate, and engaging.

What You’ll Do

  • Carry out detailed research across a variety of subjects to build strong story foundations.
  • Plan and shape content approaches that support investigative reporting goals.
  • Write clear, compelling, and thoroughly sourced journalistic pieces.
  • Draft web-ready content when needed and make sure it is polished before publication.
  • Review copy carefully to catch errors and improve readability.
  • Verify facts and source material to protect the accuracy and credibility of published work.
  • Speak with sources, gather supporting information, and organize relevant data for stories.
  • Work with editors and fellow journalists to develop high-quality investigative content.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong capabilities in research and written communication.
  • Experience creating or contributing to content strategy.
  • Comfort with web content writing and proofreading tasks.
  • Sharp analytical thinking and a critical eye for detail.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken communication.
  • Ability to manage work independently in a remote setting.
  • Understanding of journalistic ethics and professional reporting standards.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a closely related discipline.
  • Prior experience in investigative reporting will be considered an advantage.
