Position Summary

The Installer role involves the secure and proficient setup of various products such as home appliances, furniture, and complex electronics at customer premises. This position is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing professional installation services and accurate product configurations.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver products safely to customer homes or business locations.
• Unbox, assemble, and install a wide array of products following manufacturer guidelines and company protocols.
• Perform pre-installation inspections and post-installation functionality tests.
• Instruct customers on proper product use, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Offer outstanding customer service by professionally responding to inquiries and concerns.
• Complete all relevant paperwork including installation records, delivery confirmations, and customer feedback.
• Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and company vehicles, ensuring operational readiness.
• Follow all safety rules and adhere to company policies strictly.
• Work closely with dispatch and customer service teams to ensure timely and efficient installation services.
• Identify, document, and report any product defects or damages found during installations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completion of high school or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in areas like appliance repair or electronics installation preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in product installation, assembly, or closely related trades.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to solve installation-related problems independently.
• Capable of reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for customer interaction.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy items and manage repetitive manual work.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
• Familiar with the use of basic hand and power tools.
• Self-motivated with good time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed.
