Generative AI Engineer (Python)

Overview

This role focuses on designing and developing advanced Generative AI applications using Python. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience, demonstrating expertise in Python programming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and SQL. The position is located in Chennai, with possible opportunities in Bangalore and Delhi NCR.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust RESTful APIs using the FastAPI framework.
• Implement and refine prompt logic utilizing large language models (LLMs) such as GPT, Llama, and Claude.
• Enhance backend system performance to ensure secure, scalable microservices.
• Design, build, and deploy Generative AI solutions leveraging Python and cutting-edge frameworks.
• Integrate LLM-driven systems with platforms like OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks.
• Create and tune prompts to optimize model responses and effectiveness.
• Develop AI and machine learning models alongside building data processing pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Embed AI capabilities seamlessly into enterprise applications, APIs, and databases.
• Continuously monitor, test, and enhance Generative AI models to maintain accuracy, scalability, and dependability.
• Work closely with both business and technical teams to pinpoint AI opportunities and deliver practical solutions.
• Adhere to AI governance protocols, security standards, and ethical guidelines for responsible AI deployment.

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of professional experience working with Python and Generative AI technologies.
• Strong skills in Core Python and experience with related libraries and frameworks.
• Proficiency in AI, Machine Learning, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs including GPT, Llama, and Claude.
• Knowledge of LangChain and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks.
• Demonstrated capability in prompt engineering and REST API development.
• Able to manage tasks effectively within a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment while communicating challenges proactively.
