Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional assistance by welcoming customers, guiding product choices, promoting services and merchandise, helping find items, supporting purchasing decisions, and addressing or escalating customer inquiries.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of designated sales floor zones and provide assistance at the Front End as needed; actively communicate with team members to maintain service quality and floor presence.
• Maintain cleanliness and order by zoning assigned sales areas; relocate display merchandise appropriately and manage merchandise recovery from Customer Service and other store locations.
• Perform stocking duties including replenishing merchandise, downstocking when necessary, applying product protections, and setting up modular displays including flexible and new shelf configurations.
• Promote workplace safety by adhering to company policies, conducting safety checks, and ensuring all displays and fixtures are secure and hazard-free.
• Be adaptable with scheduling, willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on store requirements to ensure smooth operations and consistent customer service.

Challenges in the Role

• Effectively handle high volumes of tasks in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight shifts, by managing energy and maintaining focus.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in restocking and recovery tasks amidst time-sensitive demands.
• Perform physically demanding activities including prolonged standing, bending, lifting merchandise and equipment up to 20 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out repetitive tasks such as stocking and organizing products with attention to detail to uphold store standards.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this role starts at $16.50.
