Role Overview

A Dishwasher or Utility Team Member at Gator’s Dockside plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout various work areas, including dishwashing stations and waste disposal zones. Reporting to managers, this position demands adherence to company policies and active communication with fellow staff to ensure a pleasant dining experience for guests.

Key Duties

• Thoroughly wash and sanitize a variety of food service tools such as plates, utensils, pots, pans, and prepping equipment utilizing a triple sink setup or a dishwashing machine.
• Identify and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or unsafe, unhygienic conditions to management personnel including Kitchen Manager, Assistant Managers, and General Manager.
• Complete cleaning and organizational projects assigned by management efficiently to meet business requirements.
• Support food preparation duties during slower periods by assisting as a prep cook, following established food safety protocols and retaining current food safety certification.
• Contribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of common restaurant areas including restrooms, dining floors, kitchen areas, walls, windows, furniture, and external spaces as directed.
• Maintain proper personal hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times.

Dishwashers must interact courteously and cooperatively with all levels of staff to foster a team-oriented environment and enhance the overall guest experience. Compliance with all training materials and employee handbook policies is mandatory.
