Work Environment

This role is strictly onsite at Regal Rexnord's Cassville, Missouri facility, where daily work is conducted in the designated office and production areas.

Overview

The Die Setter oversees prioritizing and managing workflow on secondary presses within the stamping and fabrication department to boost efficiency and productivity. The individual ensures smooth operations by organizing tasks on workflow boards, thereby maximizing output and overall department effectiveness. Responsibilities

• Assist and support secondary operations and machine operators in stamping and fabrication to maintain safe and productive workflows.
• Optimize daily production levels to satisfy customer demands and meet manufacturing goals.
• Help drive departmental achievements related to quality, safety, delivery schedules, and productivity targets.
• Provide guidance to secondary operators on interpreting technical prints and part specifications when required.
• Train personnel on appropriate part loading techniques, adapting methods based on part type and die specifications.
• Respond efficiently to special tasks or requests from team leaders and management.
• Perform additional duties aligned with departmental objectives as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, fostering a culture of respect, fairness, and teamwork.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to ensure quality standards.
• Operate various production tools and machines to fulfill manufacturing tasks.
• Maintain strict adherence to product quality standards and production efficiency.
• Follow prescribed safety and environmental protocols, including spill prevention and proper material handling practices.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a high school diploma or an equivalent credential (preferred).
• Open to learning new skills and operating manufacturing equipment.
• Available to work overtime hours, including Saturdays, as required.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and able to remain standing or seated for long durations.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality work.
• Reliable attendance and a dedicated work ethic are essential.
• Safety-conscious and committed to promoting a secure working environment.
