Azure DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an accomplished DevOps Engineer to design, build, and oversee scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure technologies. The role demands robust expertise in automation, infrastructure-as-code, release engineering, and support of dependable enterprise-grade deployments within Agile settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for large-scale applications across diverse environments efficiently.
• Leverage Azure cloud offerings, including compute, networking, storage, security, and monitoring capabilities.
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Utilize containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment.
• Handle deployment methodologies, environment setup, rollback procedures, and automate release processes.
• Apply deep knowledge of microservices architecture, API-driven integration, and manage distributed system deployments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using platforms like Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Collaborate effectively with development, QA, security, and architectural teams to optimize DevOps workflows.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and enhanced performance throughout various environments.
• Strictly follow security protocols including access controls, secrets management, and compliance requirements in cloud settings.
• Manage build optimizations, artifact storage, and version control procedures.
• Operate automation tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalents.
• Establish and maintain environment standardization and automation frameworks across development lifecycle stages.
• Champion adoption of DevOps best practices within Agile delivery teams.
• Support complex enterprise deployments involving multiple stakeholders and environments.
• Communicate effectively across product, engineering, QA, and operational divisions to ensure smooth coordination.
