Internship overview

This is a six-month, full-time, in-office internship based in Kochi, Kerala. The role is focused on practical AI engineering work involving Python, large language models, agentic systems, prompt design, and API-driven automation.

What you will do

• Build Python applications and prototypes that connect with large language models through tools such as LangChain, Haystack, or custom agent-based setups.
• Help design multi-step pipelines where separate components manage tasks like retrieval, reasoning, and action execution.
• Support the creation, testing, and improvement of prompt engineering approaches to raise model quality across different use cases.
• Contribute to automating workflows using OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM platforms exposed through APIs.
• Work with senior engineers to measure and compare the performance of agentic workflows.
• Keep code, API usage details, and design decisions well documented for future reference.
• Take part in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Applicants must be available for a full-time, on-site internship and should be able to begin between 29 June 2026 and 3 August 2026. The internship runs for 6 months. Requirements

• Prior internship experience or substantial project work involving LLMs, agentic systems, or AI toolchains.
• Strong Python programming ability; experience with asynchronous programming is an added advantage.
• Practical familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain agents, CrewAI, AutoGPT, or similar custom implementations.
• Understanding of prompt engineering techniques, including role-based prompting, tool use, and chain-of-thought methods.
• Comfort with Git and everyday software development workflows.
• Exposure to APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google PaLM, or comparable platforms.

Additional information
