Role Overview

IRON CHEF F&B PTE LTD is seeking a hands-on Supervisor to oversee maintenance-related work and guide a team of technicians in Singapore. The role focuses on coordinating day-to-day tasks, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and providing practical technical support across repair and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Use practical electrical and plumbing knowledge to support maintenance work.
• Carry out or oversee general repair jobs and painting assignments.
• Apply carpentry skills when needed for upkeep and corrective work.
• Lead and coordinate technicians in their daily duties.
• Allocate work orders, maintenance jobs, and project tasks according to urgency and available resources.
• Check that work meets internal procedures, safety rules, and industry expectations.
• Coach, guide, and support technicians through technical advice and on-the-job training.
• Inspect finished work to confirm it is accurate and completed to the required standard.
• Diagnose difficult technical problems and help drive solutions.
• Keep proper records of repairs, maintenance activity, equipment condition, and inventory usage.
• Promote safe working practices and conduct safety briefings.
• Support manpower planning, scheduling, and allocation of resources.

Qualifications

• At least 3 to 5 years of technical experience, including exposure to supervisory or team leadership duties.
• Good working understanding of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting methods.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities.
• Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions confidently.
• A valid Class 3 driving licence is required.
• Must be able to work a 6-day schedule with 12 hours per day.
