Working Conditions and Physical Demands
This role involves a fast-moving restaurant environment. Work areas can be hot due to steam and cooking vapors, and the workspace is often limited. Team members are expected to stay on their feet for long periods, prepare both hot and cold foods, use a Chinese cook knife and other kitchen tools, and work quickly while maintaining accuracy. The role may require lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for up to four hours, and reaching across 36-inch counters to serve customers. Kitchens may be noisy, storage can be tight, and shelving may be high. Success in this role also requires effective verbal communication, flexibility in changing conditions, and the ability to handle conflicts and difficult situations calmly.

Compensation
The pay rate for this position is $20 to $23 per hour. Pay within this range depends on factors such as work location and experience.
