Role Overview
This opportunity is for a proactive and commercially minded Sales Representative to support Hilti business growth within the Oil & Gas segment in Ghana. The position suits someone who is comfortable with technical sales, can work directly with clients, and can present industrial solutions confidently in a challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and advance sales prospects across the Oil & Gas sector.
- Present Hilti products and solution offerings to both current customers and new prospects.
- Develop trusted working relationships with engineers, procurement personnel, contractors, and project managers.
- Assess customer requirements and suggest appropriate technical solutions.
- Draft quotations, track opportunities through the sales cycle, and convert leads into closed deals.
- Carry out regular market visits and provide updates on sales performance and pipeline progress.
- Coordinate with the internal team to keep order handling and customer service running smoothly.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in sales in a technical, industrial, or similarly specialized field.
- Prior exposure to Oil & Gas, construction, engineering, or similar industries will be a clear advantage.
- A technical or engineering education is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and negotiation ability.
- Self-driven, energetic, commercially focused, and goal-oriented.
- Capability to understand technical products and explain them in clear, customer-friendly language.
- Well-developed organizational habits and a professional work ethic.
