About the Role
Auckland Council's Property Management team is seeking an experienced Programme Coordinator to join their Resilience and Infrastructure division. This permanent, full-time position involves supporting the delivery of a diverse property renewals programme. You will be instrumental in coordinating programme activities, tracking project progress, maintaining governance records, and ensuring adherence to established frameworks and processes. This role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic team managing a wide array of property-related projects across Auckland, involving numerous concurrent projects. It's ideal for an individual who thrives on managing multiple priorities with a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee programme planning, reporting, and governance across multiple projects.
- Monitor programme performance, including key milestones, risks, issues, budgets, and overall delivery progress.
- Generate comprehensive reports, prepare meeting materials, maintain action registers, and manage project documentation.
- Provide support to Project Managers and project teams by managing programme management systems, tools, and processes.
- Facilitate meetings and cultivate effective working relationships with internal stakeholders throughout the Council.
About You
We are looking for a proactive, organized, and self-sufficient Programme or Project Coordinator who excels at bringing structure, organization, and momentum to programme delivery. You should be comfortable operating within established frameworks and adept at building credibility with stakeholders through professionalism, initiative, and meticulous attention to detail.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of experience in a Programme Coordinator, Project Coordinator, or a comparable role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery of multiple projects within a structured programme or project environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication, with the confidence to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience in property, construction, infrastructure, asset management, facilities, renewals, or local government sectors would be considered an advantage.
