Role Overview
The Real Deal is seeking a freelance podcast host and on-camera personality for an upcoming television and digital series centered on real estate. This opportunity is best suited to someone who is comfortable in front of the camera, can interview guests with ease, and can steer conversations in a natural, polished, and engaging way.
You will collaborate with the editorial and production teams to build video and podcast content featuring real estate professionals, executives, developers, brokers, and other guests from the industry.
Work Location and Schedule
This role requires an in-person presence in New York City. The schedule is two days per week, and the position is freelance/contract in nature.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or share hosting duties across podcast and video segments.
- Conduct interviews and keep conversations moving in an engaging direction.
- Prepare by researching guests and current trends in the industry before each recording.
- Coordinate with editorial and production teams while planning episodes.
- Take part in studio sessions and occasional shoots at other locations within New York City.
- Contribute to content designed for digital channels and social media.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will bring prior experience in podcasting, broadcasting, interviewing, or on-camera work. Strong communication ability, confidence on camera, and a professional, dependable approach are important. An interest in real estate, business, media, or current events will be an added advantage.
Applicants must live in or close to New York City and be available to work onsite two days each week.
