Role Overview
This position is focused on improving efficiency across urban distribution and terminal operations through Lean-based methods. The role involves analyzing operations, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing practical changes that strengthen performance, reduce waste, and improve service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives aimed at improving urban distribution and terminal workflows.
- Study delivery routes and refine them to shorten transit time and lower operating expense.
- Plan site capacity, allocate resources effectively, and improve facility layouts.
- Develop actions that raise individual productivity and support stable courier attendance.
- Track terminal performance indicators, investigate root causes, and implement improvements on site.
- Work closely with terminal managers to roll out standard practices and Lean methods across operations.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in express delivery, instant delivery, or urban distribution operations.
- Solid working knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma approaches in a logistics setting.
- Strong capability in data analysis, layout planning, and change management.
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to manage routes and resources effectively.
- Experience in logistics or the express delivery industry is strongly preferred.
