This position sits within a major programme in Saudi Arabia, focused on a large mixed-use development that includes sports, entertainment, and arts facilities, together with the related infrastructure.

The role is to support the client or project management consultant in leading complex audiovisual, lighting, and integrated show systems work from early design coordination through procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover.

This opportunity calls for solid technical knowledge, strong coordination with stakeholders, and prior exposure to major construction or entertainment developments in the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

The successful person will guide the planning and execution of AV, lighting, and show systems packages, while acting as the main point of contact for consultants, contractors, system integrators, vendors, and internal teams. The position also requires ensuring that delivery remains on track with respect to scope, programme, budget, and quality expectations.

Responsibilities also include gathering user and operator requirements, coordinating discussions with contractors, authorities, and consultants, and leading project meetings with appropriate reporting.

On site, the role involves monitoring installation activity for AV and lighting systems, checking that works follow the approved design intent, coordinating with civil, MEP, and fit-out teams, and making sure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained.

For testing and closeout, the role covers commissioning planning, system integration across AV, lighting control, show control, and IT networks, as well as snagging management, defect closure, and handover documentation.

Requirements

The role needs experience in managing projects for AV, lighting, or integrated systems, with a proven background delivering large-scale developments such as stadiums, theme parks, cultural venues, or other major programmes.

Prior Middle East experience is preferred, especially in client-side or PMC assignments. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in complex stakeholder environments and fast-moving mega-project settings.

A working understanding of professional AV systems, including audio, video, and control systems, is required. Candidates must also meet the visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant experience on high-value projects or programmes within a project management consultancy environment for immigration and client approval purposes.
