Role overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper for a long-term care facility in Corinth, Mississippi. In this role, you’ll help maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe setting for residents, staff, and visitors while supporting the organization’s commitment to quality service and community care.

What you’ll do

• Carry out everyday housekeeping duties across resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and office areas.
• Clean and disinfect all assigned areas in line with site procedures and safety standards.
• Keep basic records of completed cleaning work and escalate any maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor.
• Follow infection prevention practices and universal precautions to support a hygienic environment.
• Provide courteous, helpful interactions with residents, employees, and guests.
• Handle any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
• Prior housekeeping experience is helpful, though not mandatory.
• A positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership are important.
• Candidates must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
• The job requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• You should be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long stretches.
• Work involves repeated routine tasks and constant repetition.
• You must be able to work safely around cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to understand and follow both spoken and written instructions is necessary.
• Residency within the service area is required.
