About the role
This position supports a London-based organization that manages intricate corporate structures and depends on precise, well-organized data to run its work. The Frontend Engineer Intern will help create and improve the digital tools used by principals to monitor portfolios and make important decisions for the boards the firm advises.
About Arabian Private Holdings
Arabian Private Holdings was established around the idea that many serious business challenges do not suit the conventional large-consulting-firm model. When a board needs help with succession planning or a family group is considering a capital injection, the solution is not a large team or a lengthy methodology deck. What is needed is a seasoned partner who can assess the issue carefully, develop a sound position, and stand behind it. The firm accepts only a limited number of engagements so that each client gets direct attention from the principals who are responsible for the result. Its work spans corporate strategy, governance, and operating-model efficiency for major family groups, listed companies, and government entities across the region. The approach favors clarity over complexity. The company works remotely and prioritizes strong analysis and relationships instead of traditional office structures or aggressive expansion goals.
What you will do
- Create and support user interfaces for internal applications that monitor mandate progress and portfolio performance.
- Convert wireframes and functional outlines into neat, maintainable code with modern frontend technologies.
- Work with principals so the tools align with the governance needs of each client assignment.
- Assess existing code to spot performance issues and recommend practical user experience improvements.
- Record frontend behavior and component structures so the systems remain understandable and maintainable over time.
- Contribute to technical conversations about which frameworks and libraries fit the project requirements best.
- Identify and fix styling or layout inconsistencies in internal dashboards to keep presentation quality high.
- Help deliver mandates by making sure client-facing reports and tools are clear, polished, and functional.
What we are looking for
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with some exposure to modern frameworks like React or Vue through coursework or personal builds.
- A structured, practical problem-solving style and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly to colleagues without a technical background.
- Strong written communication, since coordination happens largely through documentation and asynchronous digital messaging.
- Real interest in the intersection of corporate strategy and technology within a professional services setting.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially around layout consistency and how information is presented to senior stakeholders.
- Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment while managing time and milestones effectively.
How we work
The firm operates entirely remotely, relying on strong written communication and clear expectations instead of office proximity. This setup keeps attention on the actual work and the specific mandates the firm chooses to take on. Mentoring is direct and frequent, with close collaboration with partners who are accountable for client outcomes. Feedback focuses on clarity, technical reasoning, and usefulness. Long hours are not treated as a value in themselves; the emphasis is on results, sound judgment, and attention to detail for clients with sensitive business challenges. Because the role is fully remote, you will have the freedom to organize your day in the way that best supports your productivity.
What the role offers
- Competitive pay that is positioned attractively for an entry-level role in the market.
- Exposure to high-level corporate strategy and governance work for significant regional and international organizations.
- The chance to develop internal tools that directly shape how principals and boards interpret portfolio information.
- A professional remote working setup that supports autonomy and deep focus.
- Practical professional growth through direct feedback from experienced partners and principals.
