Role overview
This position is responsible for actively sourcing and managing food and beverage sales opportunities. The role makes sure business is handed over smoothly and on time so service delivery stays seamless. It also plays a key part in coordinating daily F&B sales activities, developing long-term customer relationships built on value, and meeting individual sales targets.

What you will do
- Coordinate with off-property sales channels so that sales efforts stay aligned, support each other, and avoid duplication.
- Build and deepen relationships with both existing and prospective customers to create future booking opportunities through calls, entertainment, familiarization visits, trade shows, and similar activities.
- Develop community connections that broaden the customer base and create more sales opportunities.
- Maintain and grow relationships with important internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide clear, complete, and accurate turnover information to Event Management.
- Join sales calls with the team to win new business and/or close existing opportunities.
- Handle the operational follow-through for confirmed business, including proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence.
- Identify new prospects that help achieve personal and property revenue goals.
- Stay informed about market conditions, competition, and economic trends in order to position the property effectively.
- Select the strongest opportunities based on market conditions and the needs of the location.
- Understand the primary target customer and their expectations, business challenges, and concerns so appropriate solutions can be offered.
- Support customer loyalty by delivering consistently strong service throughout the full customer journey.
- Grow account share by serving customers effectively and meeting service standards.
- Set a strong example in guest relations and gather guest feedback on product and service quality.
Candidate profile
The employer is looking for someone with a background in sales and marketing, hospitality, or a related field, along with experience in driving revenue through customer relationships and business development.
Education and experience
- A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related discipline, plus 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or a similar professional area.
- Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related discipline, plus 1 year of experience in sales and marketing or a similar professional area.
