பணி விளக்கம்
About the Company
Primepac Industrial Ltd is a major New Zealand supplier and manufacturer of industrial packaging and workplace supplies. With a nationwide customer base and a wide product offering, the company has developed a strong reputation for dependable service, supply continuity, and operational reliability. It is now in a new growth phase, backed by a significant revenue goal and strong leadership focus.
The Role
In this newly established position, you will report directly to the Managing Director and help create strategic capacity at the top of the business. The role is built to run the MD’s operating framework, strengthen accountability across the leadership group, and assist with the coordination of important strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the Managing Director’s calendar, email, and weekly priorities so time is protected for strategic work
- Run the leadership team action tracker and issue regular updates on ownership and follow-through
- Prepare KPI packs, executive dashboards, and materials needed for board discussions
- Oversee strategic initiatives by monitoring workstreams, assigned owners, and deadlines
- Assist with recruitment activity across the pipeline, from job advertising through to onboarding
- Turn rough direction from the MD into polished briefs, written updates, and meeting agendas
- Keep the decision register current and proactively highlight emerging risks
Key Skills & Experience Required
The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of experience in senior executive support, operations, or commercial coordination. A background in an SME or fast-growing business is preferred over experience in a large corporate environment. You should be confident managing an executive’s time and decision-making system, not simply handling scheduling tasks. Strong business writing skills are essential, along with the ability to transform incomplete input into clear, professional documents. A solid understanding of commercial priorities and how businesses operate will be important, as will the confidence to hold others accountable in a constructive way. You will need to be highly organised, proactive, comfortable working at pace, and able to operate effectively amid ambiguity. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and task management platforms is required, and a strong sense of discretion is essential.
What’s In It For You
This is presented as a real career step rather than a standard Executive Assistant role. You will sit close to the centre of a growing New Zealand business and work directly with an ambitious Managing Director who has a clear agenda. The scope is meaningful, the path ahead is defined, and the impact of your contribution will be visible from the start. If you are commercially minded, naturally proactive, and looking for a role where you can take ownership of something important, this opportunity is well worth considering.
