Role overview
A leading technology company is seeking a Data Entry Clerk in Austin, TX. The assignment involves reviewing a large set of legal documents, pulling out required fields, and recording the data accurately in a spreadsheet. The pay is $15 to $19 per hour, depending on experience.
What you'll do
- Go through about 330 legal records and capture 12 predefined data points from each one.
- Spot essential document details such as contract type, effective date, and other required legal attributes.
- Enter the extracted information into the provided worksheet or spreadsheet with care and accuracy.
- Keep data consistent and precise throughout the document review process.
- Work with the legal team when anything is unclear or needs further interpretation.
- Stay on schedule and deliver the work while meeting quality expectations.
What we're looking for
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organization skills.
- Prior experience in data entry, document review, or administrative support is preferred.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks independently.
- Good written and verbal communication abilities.
- Willingness to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
