Role overview
Emirates is hiring cabin crew members who can represent the airline with warmth, professionalism, and calm confidence. In this role, you will be the first point of support for passengers, helping them feel comfortable while also ensuring that onboard safety and service standards are upheld at all times.
This position goes beyond hospitality alone. It involves managing cabin services, responding to security and safety requirements, and handling responsibilities with a composed, solution-focused approach. Training is delivered through Emirates’ advanced learning facility in Dubai.
What the role involves
You will support passengers throughout the journey, provide guidance when needed, and deliver an attentive service experience across a multicultural environment. The job also requires you to take charge of safety-related procedures and service delivery during flights.
Required background and profile
Candidates should have at least one year of experience in hospitality or customer service and be comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds. A positive outlook, strong teamwork, and a service-first mindset are essential. You must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
The minimum educational requirement is completion of Grade 12. Applicants must be at least 160 cm tall and able to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes so they can access emergency equipment on all aircraft types. Visible tattoos are not permitted while wearing the Emirates cabin crew uniform unless they are fully covered with bandages or cosmetics.
This role is based in Dubai, so candidates must be able to satisfy UAE employment visa requirements.
Work style and expectations
Emirates is looking for people who consistently aim for the highest standards, can stay composed under pressure, and are comfortable handling a demanding schedule. You should be able to create a genuine customer experience and reflect the airline’s professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary, and cosmopolitan image.
Compensation and benefits
Pay is structured into three parts: a fixed monthly base salary, hourly flying pay, and an overseas meal allowance. The basic salary is AED 4,980 per month. Flying pay is AED 69.60 per hour, based on an average of 80 to 100 hours per month. The average total monthly pay is AED 11,244, which is approximately USD 3,100, EUR 2,600, or GBP 2,280 for Grade II Economy Class.
Meal allowances for night stops are added to salary in arrears in the following month. The company also provides hotel accommodation and transportation to and from the airport. Additional benefits include a tax-free salary, profit share, concessional travel, relocation support for settling in Dubai, free accommodation and transport, medical insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, and discounted flights for friends and family.
Location and relocation
The position is Dubai-based. Relocation support is included to help successful candidates move and settle in Dubai.
