Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Overview

KGS Technology Group, Inc is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its Business Analytics team in a remote capacity. The position is focused on turning business data into practical insights that improve performance across departments and support the company’s growth in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

• Build a strong grasp of how the business works, how each department contributes, and which metrics best reflect performance.
• Partner with department leaders and analysts to set meaningful KPIs and create reporting that tracks company-wide results.
• Design and deliver reports and dashboards using enterprise reporting tools.
• Carry out one-off analyses to address business questions and surface insights that can improve operations.
• Keep a central library of metric definitions updated so reporting remains consistent and easy to interpret.
• Track data quality issues and work with data owners to correct them.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or Quantitative Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with reporting platforms such as Tableau, along with a solid command of databases and SQL.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Economics, or another related discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen carefully and explain ideas clearly.
• A careful, analytical, and methodical approach to solving problems.
• Genuine interest in data and a drive to uncover answers hidden in datasets.
• Helpful background in consulting, operations, statistics, predictive analytics, or SaaS will be an advantage.
