Role Overview

This position is part of Infosys Quality Engineering. The role centers on automated testing, quality assurance, and helping clients achieve reliable, high-performing software delivery in a technology-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients on quality assurance activities, issue resolution, and maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
• Understand business and technical requirements, review design inputs, validate architecture, and support strong service outcomes.
• Take part in project estimation, contribute to solution delivery, and help with technical risk planning.
• Review code and unit test plans to ensure they meet expected quality standards.
• Guide teams toward efficient, high-quality deliverables while supporting knowledge sharing and process compliance.
• Contribute to building effective software systems that support client digital transformation goals.

Additional Requirements

• Working knowledge of more than one technology.
• Basic understanding of architecture and design fundamentals.
• Familiarity with testing tools.
• Exposure to agile development practices.
• Understanding of project life cycle activities in both development and maintenance work.
• Knowledge of estimation approaches and quality processes.
• Basic business-domain understanding to interpret requirements correctly.
• Strong analytical ability, technical aptitude, and communication skills.
• Good grasp of the relevant technology stack and business context.
• Ability to apply software quality assurance principles, SOLID design concepts, and modeling methods.
• Awareness of current technologies and industry trends.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving capability.

Technical Focus

The preferred technical stack for this role is Automated Testing with Selenium and Java.

Education

Applicants should have one of the following qualifications: MCA, MSc, MTech, Bachelor of Engineering, BCA, BSc, or BTech. Eligible specializations mentioned include B.C.A. in any specialization, B.Sc. in any specialization, and B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization.
