Job Overview
Icon Motocraft is looking for an experienced Welder to become part of our production crew. The successful candidate will contribute by constructing essential structural steel frameworks used in our pre-fabricated housing units. A critical requirement is the ability to interpret detailed engineered blueprints and carry out welding work with exactness to guarantee the structural integrity and precision of our products.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret blueprints and structural schematics.
- Measure, layout, and assemble steel components for modular home framing.
- Execute welds of high quality using methods including Arc, MIG, and Flux-Core across various welding positions.
- Utilize fabrication machinery such as grinders, saws, and cutting torches effectively.
- Perform inspections on completed welds to assure adherence to strict quality and safety guidelines.
- Keep the working area tidy and uphold stringent workshop safety procedures.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Documented experience working as a Welder or Fabricator.
- Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints and structural drawings.
- Experience working with structural steel or heavy framing is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail ensuring dimensional accuracy.
- Physical ability to handle heavy materials and stand for extended durations.
Compensation
The monthly salary range is between 18000 and 35000 INR based on skills and experience.
