Role Overview
In this pivotal position within the team, a Warehouse Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring farmers have the necessary parts and materials available at the right time, helping service visits, maintenance, and repairs run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping to maintain timely and accurate fulfillment of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock management, cycle counts, and resolution of discrepancies, while managing replenishment settings.
- Provide excellent support to customers and service technicians by ensuring the availability of parts and handling collections and deliveries efficiently.
- Process and manage warranty claims by verifying, handling, and dispatching claims based on technician information.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, safe, and efficient while keeping products stored correctly and inventory data accurately maintained in business systems.
- Track warehouse performance and inventory key performance indicators (KPIs), assist with budget preparations and seek continuous improvements in inventory accuracy and warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or parts operations.
- Proficient understanding of inbound logistics, storage solutions, order picking, and dispatch procedures.
- Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management software systems.
- Knowledge of stock control techniques including cycle counting and investigating inventory mismatches.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and methodical work approach.
- Customer-centric attitude with excellent collaboration skills to work alongside technicians, suppliers, and clients.
- Experience working with spare parts, technical equipment, or consumables will be advantageous.
- Basic understanding of warranty administration is a plus, though not mandatory.
