Role Overview
The Vehicle Estimator based in Darra, Queensland, is responsible for evaluating vehicle damage and creating precise repair cost assessments. This permanent full-time role operates Monday to Friday over 45 hours weekly, offering a rewarding salary aligned with expertise and an encouraging team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate damaged vehicles and prepare thorough and accurate repair estimates.
- Collaborate effectively with insurers, customers, and workshop teams to oversee workflow from quotation through completion.
- Procure parts and ensure estimates comply with quality, timing, and budgetary standards.
- Employ estimating software (such as Audatex or PartsPoint) to produce compliant quotes.
- Maintain robust communication to ensure smooth job progress and adherence to policies.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures diligently.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience as an Estimator in automotive or collision repair industries.
- Proficient in industry-standard estimating software tools.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with strong negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with superior organizational capabilities.
- Dependable, punctual, and cooperative team contributor.
