Role Overview

Technical Responsibilities
- Work on camera-related multimedia development and Android multimedia components.
- Handle camera and audio bring-up activities on Android-based systems.
- Support and work with Camera HAL, Camera2 API, and camera tuning workflows.
- Build and maintain knowledge of multimedia subsystems such as Stagefright, OMX, AudioFlinger, Audio HAL, ALSA, and V4L2.
- Deal with streaming technologies and protocols including RTP, RTSP, and Wi‑Fi Display.
- Contribute to Android multimedia framework work across audio and video domains.
- Use strong programming fundamentals in C, C++, Java, data structures, and algorithms.
- Be prepared to work in the Android multimedia domain and contribute wherever needed.
Desired / Added Advantage Skills
- Exposure to Python, R, TensorFlow, neural networks, and AI/ML is considered beneficial.
- Knowledge of DSP and audio/video codecs will be an added plus.
