Job description
Overview
The Marketing Project Manager is tasked with orchestrating the daily operational workflow of the Marketing & Communications department. This role ensures that tasks are well planned, prioritized, delegated, and completed within set deadlines. Acting as the central liaison, it connects Brand Managers, Shared Services, external agencies, and stakeholders, securing an efficient allocation of marketing resources to optimize output and maintain quality standards.
Primary Duties
- Manage comprehensive workflow across all brands and teams within the marketing department.
- Review and validate marketing requests ensuring briefs are complete before commencement.
- Prioritize projects aligned with business objectives and timelines, assigning work appropriately.
- Maintain real-time visibility of all ongoing projects and their progress.
- Plan and oversee resource allocation for internal teams and external agencies, including freelancers.
- Lead project kick-offs, coordinate dependencies, monitor milestones, and ensure deliverables go through proper review and approvals.
- Implement and enforce marketing governance, operating procedures, and service level standards.
- Develop and distribute performance dashboards and operational reports for leadership.
Additional Responsibilities
- Prevent bottlenecks by balancing workloads and anticipating resource shortages.
- Facilitate communication among diverse teams and agencies, managing expectations about delivery and priorities.
- Continuously enhance workflows by identifying inefficiencies and supporting adoption of marketing technology and project management tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or related discipline.
- Between 5 to 8 years experience in marketing operations, project, or traffic management handling creative, digital, communication, and production teams.
- Familiarity with integrated marketing campaign execution and multiple stakeholder coordination.
- Proficiency with project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Wrike, Workfront, Jira, or equivalents.
