Role overview

As a Cashier, you will help deliver a pleasant, secure, and distinctive shopping experience. You will often be the first or last person a customer speaks with, so your role is important in shaping their experience.

Your day will usually be spent at the checkout or customer service desk, where you will process sales, answer customer questions in person and by phone, keep the front of the store organized, and reconcile your cash drawer at the end of the shift.

What you will do

• Handle checkout transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers with questions at the counter and by telephone.
• Maintain a clean and orderly front-of-store area.
• Balance and close out the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Support the team in delivering Princess Auto’s Royal Service standard.
