About the Role
Mercor partners distinguished creative and technical specialists with top-tier AI research institutions. Located in San Francisco, our backers include Benchmark, General Catalyst, and prominent leaders like Peter Thiel and Jack Dorsey. We are seeking a Music Audio Specialist fluent in Arabic to join us remotely on a contract basis.
Core Duties
- Assess the quality of AI-generated outputs such as lyrics and vocal tracks in music.
- Evaluate and score music training datasets to uphold excellence standards.
- Compose music specifically in Arabic showcasing language and domain expertise.
- Comprehend and act on instructions provided in English.
- Work autonomously and asynchronously to adhere to predefined project timelines.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years’ experience in roles such as music production, audio engineering, or sound mixing.
- A college degree focused on music encompassing areas like performance, music theory, and lyric development.
- Native or near-native command of both Arabic and English languages.
Preferred Attributes
- Demonstrated knowledge of musical performance, theory, and lyricism.
- Previous work involving creation of lyrical music in Arabic.
Additional Information
- This contract role offers a rate of $32 per hour.
- Work commitment entails over 10 hours each week, extending up to 6 months.
- Start date is immediate.
