About the Internship

This internship offers the opportunity to engage directly with students and alumni through various communication channels such as WhatsApp, messaging, emails, and phone calls. The intern will conduct consistent follow-ups related to training sessions, attendance records, documentation, certification, placement processes, internships, and upcoming events. Prompt and professional handling of queries from students and alumni is essential.

The role involves sharing vital announcements, opportunities, schedules, and updates from the institution regularly. Maintaining and updating a comprehensive database of students and alumni is expected. Daily records of communication, queries addressed, support rendered, and follow-up statuses must be accurately kept.

Coordination with internal teams will be necessary to resolve concerns and close any pending requests efficiently. Gathering updates on alumni employment, collecting their feedback, testimonials, and success stories also form an important part of the role. Additionally, supporting alumni engagement through meetings, workshops, and events is required. Preparing daily calling reports, follow-up trackers, and management information systems (MIS) will be part of the documented responsibilities.

Candidate Eligibility

Applicants must commit to a full-time, in-office internship and should be able to commence between July 18 and August 22, 2026, with availability for the full 3-month duration. Relevant skills and interests are necessary, and female candidates looking to start or restart their careers are especially encouraged to apply.

Stipend and Benefits

The internship offers a stipend ranging from 8000 to 10000 INR per month along with a certificate upon completion.

Skills and Requirements

• Proficiency in using MS Excel and basic MS Office applications
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Fluent verbal skills in Hindi; Marathi language skills are preferred
• Strong relationship-building, follow-up capabilities, and a solution-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with WhatsApp, email communication, telephone etiquette, and social media platforms
• Patience and supportive approach when addressing queries
• Graduate in any discipline
• Prior experience in student support, alumni relations, telecalling, counselling, customer service, or helpdesk operations is advantageous

About the Organization

Friends Union For Energising Lives (FUEL) is a non-profit working toward skill development and career counselling for children of defense personnel and rural youth across India. Since its inception, FUEL has positively impacted more than 20,000 families of defense jawans and reached over a million young individuals throughout the country. The organization has been recognized through prestigious events such as the 'Champions of Change' where they engaged with the Prime Minister of India, and participated in the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2016 hosted at Stanford University by former President Barack Obama, with involvement from Cambridge University research fellows.
