Web Developer

Job Overview

The Web Developer will be responsible for updating and maintaining websites for Fakeeh Care Group. This role focuses on ensuring that all website information is precise, complete, and current while supporting creative innovation, implementing security protocols, and collaborating with the development team to improve site functionality and user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the continuous development and update of the organization’s websites.
• Contribute ideas and assist in redesigning the website’s appearance and content structure as well as supporting redevelopment projects.
• Quickly identify and fix any issues related to web pages or servers.
• Use relevant tools to review and update website content and ensure links remain functional.
• Monitor for security threats such as intrusion attempts or denial-of-service attacks and report any security breaches.
• Apply and maintain website security protocols, including firewalls and encryption technologies.
• Oversee the administration and maintenance of internet and intranet infrastructure components including web, FTP, news, and mail servers.
• Work closely with the development team to address any usability concerns.
• Regularly test backup and recovery procedures to ensure data safety and availability.
• Keep current with web development advancements by engaging in continuous learning and attending industry conferences.
• Implement scheduled updates, upgrades, and patches to minimize operational disruptions.
• Design, develop, and maintain websites using various authoring tools, scripting languages, and digital media platforms.
• Oversee content creation, editing, and web page design activities.
• Coordinate with management and development teams to prioritize tasks and resolve any conflicts.
• Evaluate code quality, structure, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Develop front-end and back-end components including website architecture and applications.
• Create and manage servers, databases, and APIs to support site functionalities.
• Test software for performance, responsiveness, and overall efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and perform software enhancements.
• Participate in agile software development cycles encompassing design, coding, testing, and deployment phases.
• Contribute to automation strategies and assist in deployment processes.
• Establish and maintain new development tools and infrastructure.
• Focus on automation and improvements in development and release workflows.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned within the scope of the position.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in web development or a similar field.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines is required.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic is essential.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Developer and Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer are highly favorable.
