Job Overview
This position involves the safe and efficient transportation of containers within the terminal premises utilizing an Internal Terminal Vehicle (ITV).
Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough pre-shift inspection of the vehicle and promptly report any defects found.
- Move containers between vessels and various yard locations based on operational instructions.
- Adhere strictly to all terminal traffic regulations to ensure safety and order.
- Ensure the vehicle and trailer remain clean and presentable at all times.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completed high school education or equivalent.
- Possession of a Heavy Goods Vehicle license is preferred.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with terminal operating systems, with preference given to candidates experienced in MACH systems.
