Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technically skilled sales consultant, collaborating closely with Regional Sales Managers and channel partners to understand customer needs and propose tailored Menlo Security solutions.
- Lead technical engagements including demonstrations and proof of concept deployments, configuring Menlo Security software, training users, and bridging communication between sales and technical teams.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to conduct account research, prepare technical documentation, draft responses, and streamline sales cycle tasks.
- Guide regional partners toward technical self-sufficiency and support partner-led sales opportunities.
- Nurture ongoing customer relationships to expand Menlo Security product adoption and integration.
- Provide comprehensive feedback and reports from field activities to sales, product, and engineering teams utilizing AI-enabled CRM updates.
Performance Metrics
- Achieve technical wins throughout the sales process from discovery to closing.
- Increase proof of concept conversion rates and shorten demo cycles.
- Enhance number of partner engineers trained and certified quarterly.
- Deliver quality field insights influencing product and engineering improvements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Currently based in Singapore and willing to travel overnight within the region.
- Minimum of four years’ presales experience in networking or security solutions.
- Strong expertise in web proxy technologies, network security components (firewalls, IDS/IPS, HTTP/SSL proxies), and foundational network principles including OSI model, IP routing, DNS, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Familiarity with email security and mail delivery systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate technical benefits and business value.
- High degree of accountability, proactive mindset, and eagerness for continuous learning.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of malware analysis techniques, sandboxing, forensics, and Windows internals.
- Experience in network forensics, including packet analysis.
- Background in incident response workflows and evidence management.
- Understanding of enterprise architectures involving Active Directory, SCCM, LDAP/RADIUS/TACACS+, two-factor authentication, and virtualization environments like VMware, Citrix, or VDI.
- Insight into hacking and evasion tactics, malware families, and related security tools.
- Awareness of Menlo Security competitors, their products, and market positioning.
- Effective use of AI-driven sales productivity tools integrated into daily tasks.
- Strong self-management skills, including prioritization, disciplined execution, and clear stakeholder communication.
