Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase order processing end-to-end for assigned purchasing groups in systems like NSAP and 1ERP, handling large volumes and high-value orders.
  • Collaborate with internal engineers, planners, sourcing leads, and key external suppliers to address queries, validate purchase requests, and resolve any procurement issues.
  • Oversee the conversion from purchase requests to purchase orders, ensuring smooth supply chain operations to prevent shipping or invoice delays.
  • Ensure strict adherence to audit and SOX compliance requirements, maintain segregation of duties and close gaps in commercial ownership for all purchasing groups.
  • Monitor three-way matching controls and work closely with Accounts Payable to address invoicing problems and payment holds.
  • Act as the operational liaison for internal business partners on procurement workflows, system capabilities, and compliance policies.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about learning operational procurement practices, demonstrating excellent analytical capabilities and success in dynamic environments. Attention to detail, strong organisational competence, and capability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. Effective networking, team spirit, adaptability to changing environments, and proven interpersonal and relationship-building skills are key traits.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability and willingness to work both virtually and in-person as well as attend company events.
  • Relevant experience or demonstrable project portfolio in business or related fields.
  • Applicants must possess a valid right to work in Ireland as company sponsorship is not currently provided.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Master’s degree or commensurate work experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
  • Experience with enterprise software including ERP systems.
  • Strong verbal, written, communication, and presentation capabilities.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, project management, independent judgement, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Leadership abilities.

  • Participation in volunteering initiatives aligned with environmental, community, and sustainability efforts.
