About the company
Foundation Partners is a people and culture consultancy that supports high-growth technology businesses with both strategic guidance and hands-on execution. The team helps companies handle the challenges that come with scaling, performance, and building strong HR foundations. It is a compact team of nine, bringing experience from commercial, people and culture, venture capital, and consulting backgrounds. The business is growing quickly and sits within Amplified, a people services group supporting technology companies from early stage through to IPO.
About the role
This is a strong entry point for someone looking to build a career in People and Culture. The position covers the employee lifecycle across several clients and combines client delivery with internal support for the growth of Foundation Partners and Amplified more broadly. It suits someone who enjoys building, creating, and working across a variety of projects.
You may already have some early experience in People, HR, consulting, or business operations, or you may be moving across from a related area. The role offers broad exposure across industries such as tech, fintech, life sciences, and venture capital, along with fast learning and clear progression opportunities as the team expands.
Client delivery responsibilities
- Create people and culture assets for clients, such as digital workspace sites, team playbooks, onboarding materials, and launch decks for all-hands sessions.
- Handle people operations tasks including benefits administration, memberships, onboarding, sick leave administration, and employment contracts.
- Carry out research and gather information to support client projects.
- Assist with talent activity, including recruitment coordination and light sourcing support.
- Test new content with users and refine materials based on feedback.
- Support planning and logistics for longer-term programmes, including preparing communications and critical materials.
Internal business support
- Support the internal team with day-to-day operations, including proposals, tools, systems, and offsite coordination.
- Contribute to visual design work by building handbooks, playbooks, guides, and templates for client use.
- Help produce and promote marketing content to improve the company's visibility and reach.
- Work with client survey data, including analysis of people experience feedback.
What you need to bring
- Experience in a people team, business operations team, or consulting role within a scaling environment, with exposure to the full employee and talent lifecycle.
- The ability to think in a structured way and simplify complex ideas into clear, practical content.
- Confidence working with data, spreadsheets, and large datasets; a background in statistics, financial modelling, or a similar area would be useful.
- Familiarity with tools commonly used in startup environments, such as G Suite, Miro, and Notion.
- Some visual design ability and comfort using tools such as G Suite, Miro, and Figma.
How you should work
- Work well with others and communicate clearly, especially when collaborating with partners.
- Be self-driven, able to move tasks forward independently while taking guidance where needed.
- Be comfortable handling varied work streams and switching between priorities with ease.
- Work with pace, take ownership of briefs, and help shape deliverables so they create quick impact.
Compensation, perks and benefits
- Salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 per year.
- 25 days of holiday.
- Four weeks each year to work from abroad.
- £600 annually available through the benefits platform.
