About the Role
We are hiring a practical, people-focused HR & Operations Manager to support a stock-lot shoes and footwear trading business in the UAE. This position combines human resources, office administration, and operational oversight, with a strong focus on blue-collar hiring for warehouse and logistics teams. The person in this role will help keep daily work running smoothly across departments while fostering a compliant, well-organized, and positive workplace.
Human Resources
- Take charge of core HR processes such as attendance tracking, leave administration, payroll coordination, and compliance follow-up.
- Address employee concerns and workplace disputes in a balanced, practical, and resolution-driven manner.
- Lead hiring for blue-collar roles including warehouse staff, helpers, loaders, and drivers, covering sourcing, screening, onboarding, and paperwork.
- Keep employee files updated and manage the timely renewal of visas, contracts, and identification documents.
- Assist leadership with performance reviews and disciplinary actions when needed.
- Build, update, and enforce HR policies while ensuring alignment with UAE labor regulations.
- Arrange introductory training and orientation sessions for new hires on company rules, processes, and expected workplace behavior.
Operations Management
- Supervise daily warehouse and office activities to maintain efficiency and coordination.
- Act as a link between sales, warehouse, logistics, and finance teams to meet everyday business requirements.
- Help ensure goods are delivered on time, documentation is accurate, and customer expectations are met.
- Monitor stock movement, dispatch planning, and key operational performance indicators.
- Review operating expenses and recommend practical ways to improve efficiency.
- Work with suppliers, transport providers, and outside agencies to support business operations.
Administration
- Oversee office administration tasks, including sourcing supplies and coordinating service vendors.
- Help maintain a safe, tidy, and policy-compliant workplace.
- Support management in everyday decisions involving both people and operations.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Between 4 and 7 years of experience in HR and operations, ideally within trading, retail, or logistics, with preference for footwear or stock-lot businesses.
- Strong understanding of UAE labor law and established HR practices.
- Hands-on exposure to blue-collar recruitment and workforce coordination.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable using MS Office and basic HR software/tools.
- Able to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving trading environment.
