About the Role

Ingersoll Rand seeks a dedicated Labourer based in Alberta, Canada, committed to supporting maintenance and repair activities within an industrial environment focused on blowers and pumps. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repair duties on blowers and pumps to ensure optimal operation.
• Utilize detailed inspection reports to identify and resolve equipment problems accurately.
• Assist with dynamic balancing and functional testing of positive displacement (PD) blowers.
• Support the upkeep and organization of the service and repair area.
• Complete all assigned tasks in alignment with established specifications and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with certified trades technicians on various maintenance projects.
• Prepare components for sandblasting, including checking for straightness and taping up lobes as needed.
• Clean and prepare blower parts, handle painting tasks, and assemble manifolds and feet.
• Attach serial plates, prepare pallets, and assist with shipping procedures.

Candidate Qualifications

• Previous experience as a labourer, preferably within industrial or mechanical settings.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving operations.
• Basic mechanical aptitude, especially relating to blowers and pumps, is a significant advantage.
• Capability to interpret inspection documentation and adhere to maintenance instructions.
• Strong dedication to work and the ability to function effectively within a team.
• Commitment to maintaining safety standards and abiding by company policies.
