Job description
Overview
Deutsche Bahn is currently seeking motivated individuals for over 500 diverse professions throughout Germany. Whether experienced professionals or career beginners, we provide numerous entry and continuing education opportunities. We are hiring a Gleisbauer:in (Track Construction Worker) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at the Augsburg or Munich locations, to start as soon as possible.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate within teams on various construction sites engaged in new construction and maintenance of railway tracks and associated infrastructure.
- Handle loading and unloading of construction materials.
- Operate modern machinery and measurement instruments relevant to the job.
- Work on rotating sites mainly across Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg.
Candidate Profile
- You possess experience in the construction industry and are comfortable working outdoors.
- Enjoy working collaboratively in teams and demonstrate responsibility in your duties.
- Willingness to work weekend and holiday shifts as needed, including assembly tasks.
- Hold a valid Class B driving license; having a truck license (LKW) is advantageous.
